Jeff would be delighted to answer any of your questions, to consider logistics and to discuss how best to proceed.

He enjoys first spending some helpful time with you and your pet so all can become comfortable with one another. Jeff's talent lies in capturing images that are candid in composition and not "formally" posed; that is, unforced, naturally occurring poses that just happen — not so easy.

Choose a favorite park, walking path or even your own back yard or inside the home if that is where your pet is most comfortable - their human(s) may be included in the work as well but in either case should always be present.

After the session is complete, captured images (including any processing such as minor color correction or retouching) will be uploaded to Jeff’s site at Smugmug.com where you, your family, and friends can view the images and order prints of varying sizes as well as neat items like coffee mugs, calendars, aprons, t-shirts and other cool stuff. Your "site" can be password-protected for privacy. The costs for prints and these items are in addition to the session fee and examples are listed on the costs page, as well as completely on the Smugmug site. Payment is made to Smugmug directly for any purchases using any number of acceptable credit cards and your order will be shipped by the appropriate vendor.

A word about the printing and prints.

While you order prints though Smugmug, the prints are provided by a top professional printer, EZ Prints, located in Georgia. EZ Prints provides outstanding quality, quick turnaround, broad selection and consumer prices. Printing is done on Fuji Frontier or Noritsu Pro printers using Kodak chemicals on Kodak Endura (lustre) and Kodak Edge (glossy, matte) papers designed to last for generations.

Note: Digital photographs convert to some print sizes without cropping that are different from print sizes that come from film. For example no digital camera image fits a 5X7 print without some cropping - you will lose about half an inch from the short ends. Thinking of 8X10, consider 8X12 instead; 11X14, choose 10X15; 16X20, try 12X18 or 16X24 which fit perfectly. You can also try the no crop option.

Most prints come in a choice of matte, gloss, or luster finish.
